Show 3 features Dr Neil Roodyn

YouTube Video

I’ve known Dr Neil Roodyn for decades, in an around the local developer community and as a fellow member of the Microsoft Regional Director program.

He has worked in the industry for a long time, and I liked the quote he has on his website that “A career in technology is often told as a story about the technology. But looking back, it turns out to have been a story about people all along”.

You’ll find more about Neil here: Dr Neil’s Notes

Another great guest for the show!

Show 2 features Steve Stedman

YouTube Video

I’ve been part of the SQL Server community for over 30 years, and during much of that time, Steve is one of the people I’ve seen around.

He is the founder of Stedman Solutions, LLC. who provide consulting services, and Steve is the creator of a number of tools used in the community.

He’s also a volunteer firefighter, an EMT at the Sandy Point Fire Department, and a great guest for the show.

Show 1 features Drew Robbins

YouTube Video

Drew is a seasoned leader and mentor with over 20 years of experience guiding professionals through the real-world challenges of building meaningful careers.

He’s worked across the U.S., Japan, and India, leading teams at Microsoft and shaping how organizations adopt and apply emerging technologies like Generative AI.

Drew says his mission is to help people build purposeful careers through practical insight, emotional honesty, and a focus on long-term growth.

I’ve also recently finished reading his book When No One’s Keeping Score and thought he’d be a perfect guest for this show.
